I am an acrylic artist living and painting in my studio nestled in the Byford foothills.
My artistic journey began in the early 1990s with folk art, and over time, I developed my skills through lessons that introduced me to various techniques and styles. This exploration led me to focus on acrylic paints and experiment with mixed media, creating vibrant and textured pieces that reflect my evolving passion for art.
A proud and long-time member of the Armadale Society of Artists, I served as President for two years. Today, I remain an active participant in the Society's exhibitions and events, which have allowed me to form lasting friendships and continue pursuing my love for art.

Throughout my career, I have won several awards, including the Overall Artist Award at the Gingin Art Awards, the Manse Award at the ASA Annual Exhibition, and, more recently, two photography awards at the ASA Annual Exhibition.

Sharing my knowledge has become a vital part of my journey. I hold workshops in my studio, fostering creativity and connection, while also enjoying weekly meetups with like-minded friends.

My artistic style is guided by my mood, ranging from quirky to semi-realistic and abstract. I love experimenting with bright colours and textures, embracing the freedom of following my instincts. I strive to paint daily, and while the process can sometimes be challenging, the immense joy and fulfillment I feel when completing a piece are beyond words.
